Leadership Team

The Leadership Team runs the day-to-day operations of the church. The team is accountable to the Oversight Board via a convenor, currently Gary Sims.

Adults Leader: Gary Sims

Gary leads the adults work at NPBC. This includes leadership of the Sunday Worship services, adult small groups and discipling, overseas and local mission.

Youth Leader: Jeremy Thom

Jeremy leads NPBC's work with young people (Year 7 - 13).

Jeremy is an ardent Stormers and Springboks fan (oh dear!). Prior to being called to NPBC, Jeremy was active in youth work in the Cape Town region in South Africa. 

Childrens and Families Leader: Wendy Allen

Wendy Allen leads this important work. The portfolio includes Powerhouse, Mainly Music and scope for several other initiatives to meet the needs to children and families in the NP region.

Care and Prayer Leader: Harold Nicholson

Harold leads NPBC's community care work which includes a practical care team, a team of specialist pray-ers and a pastoral support team.

Events and Creative Leader

We are actively looking for someone to lead our events and creative. In 2009-2010 we ran approximately 10 community events including fund raising galas, "party-by-the-lake", winter variety concerts.

Administration Leader: Lis Pyle

Lis and her team provide the "glue" the ensure all the background operational functions of NPBC run smoothly. This includes administration, finances, property, and technical services.
