Solid Youth Community (SYC)

Solid Youth Community (SYC) is the youth part of North Porirua Baptist Church.

We want to make life-long followers of Jesus Christ, who are committed to growing in a passionate and exciting community of young people who bring Jesus life, hope and truth to the world - starting right here!

FUSE & D-Teams (Year 7 and 8's)

FUSE youth meets weekly on Tuesday at the Whitby site from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

Every week there are great events, great people, great games. It's an awesome place for young people to put their faith into action - by inviting friends! At FUSE, we are all about having a whole heap of fun and building great friendships, and also creating a link between church and the wider North Porirua community.

D-Teams meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 10:00am - 11:30am. If you want to know more about God and faith, to go deeper, this is the place for you. This is all about exploring the harder questions of faith and going deeper into what the Bible has to say about life.

Solid & Green Teams (Year 9 - 13)

Solid meets weekly on Wednesdays at the Whitby site from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

This is an awesome place to hangout, bring friends & make new ones. Its heaps of fun with great events and some very awesome people! Most people new to our SYC start out here, its a superb way to get to know everyone.

Green Teams are small groups that meet weekly at various times and places. if you want to get serious about serving God, and growing deeper, this is the place for you.
